On February 11 (ie 30 New Year’s Eve), the Vietnamese Embassy in Poland coordinated with the Vietnamese Association in Poland to organize the program “Happy New Year Celebrating Tan Suu 2021” in an online form with the attended by numerous expatriates as well as Polish friends at many bridges in both Vietnam and Poland.
This is the first time the Community New Year program has been held online due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, but still intact the atmosphere to welcome New Year’s Eve happily and help people closer to the traditional New Year of the homeland.
The program “Happy Spring Festival” is elaborately arranged with rich and special content such as: cultural performances performed by community artists and officials of the Vietnam Representative Agency in Poland; interacting with the characters of the year 2020, guests and first prize winners of the drawing contest “Dzień dobry Vietnam, hello Polsko!” on the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam-Poland diplomatic relations; Firework program to celebrate the Spring Festival at some bridge points …
During the sacred New Year’s turn between the old year and the new year, Ambassador Nguyen Hung delivered a speech and wished Tet to the community. The Ambassador reviewed the outstanding achievements in domestic and foreign affairs of Vietnam, as well as the Vietnam-Poland relations in 2020.
The Ambassador especially appreciated the Vietnamese community in Poland, although in the extremely difficult conditions of the pandemic, there have been many meaningful initiatives and volunteer activities that not only help each other overcome the difficulties of the epidemic.
